Summer Camp 2011

Summer camps are scheduled for all levels of riders.

*Sessions are a full week (Monday through Friday)
9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

For ages 6 & up. Cost per session is $275. Advanced camp is $325. Snacks and water are provided. Each participant will bring their own lunch.

Summer Camp

The focus is on teaching young equestrians proper and safe riding techniques and care for horses and equipment. Advanced students will further their riding skills that will prepare them to achieve their goals. Each day, weather permitting, there will be lessons on horseback and off horseback. In the afternoon they have trial rides or mounted games. Through the week they meet new freinds, improve their riding skills, and have alot of fun!

Advanced Camp

Great opportunities are in store for advanced campers. Individual instruction, guest professionals, show and cross country training. In addition they will be trained in course designing and get a free division in our Tuesday Evening Horse Show. 

  Tenative schedule:

  Monday - Clinic with Sandy Hoyer

  Tuesday - trail ride,braiding, Horse show

  Wednesday - Games Clinic & swimming
  Thursday - TBA

Snead Stables at Braehead Farm

Braehead Farm is located just off the Blue-Grey Highway in Fredericksburg. This is an old dairy farm with a new equestrian venue. Braehead offers the same summer program with instructor, Beth Linton. This is a new facility that incorporates a nostalgic dairy barn with all the new amenities of an equestrian center.
